ESSEX.-- Solomon Busch Essex died at Media on Thursday of last week, Nov. 19th, after a brief illiness. Mr. Essex was an old resident of this county and for many years of Biggsville. He was a miller by occupation and was connected with the old Biggsville mills in its early days and as late as '87 or '88.

He was born at Chillicothe , Ohio , Feb. 23, 1822 , and was in his 82nd year at the time of his death. He came to Illinois in 1838, and in 1851 was married to Miss Delilah Wax , who died in'87 and was buried in Biggsville cemetery. They were the parents of three daughters and two sons. The daughters survive, but the sons died years ago
