Have been searching for an Edward Earl PAYNE or "Earl Edward" son of Jeremiah and Letitia(Orr) PAYNE . He was b. 1849 and d. 1886. I have recently found out that he supposedly died in Hanna,Henry Co. IL.,his burial was in the Hampton Cem. Rock Island Co. IL. The info from his stone (was sent to me) that he died 1888 . I recently sent for and hoped to get info from IRAD regarding the death index for Henry Co.and maybe a probate record/will, but they were not able to find anything in their records. I think Edward PAYNE died pretty young...37, 39. maybe the death was sudden and no time for a will? Maybe he was just visiting in Henry County , wouldn't a death certificate be filed there if that is where he died?

Searching for any info on a Henry/Hans HAACK who I believe is the following individual and am trying to connect to the family:
1900: Located in the Hampton , Rock Island , Illinois in the Western Hospital for the Insane, says he is divorced
CENSUS: 1920 census Hampton, Rock Island County, Illinois Haack, Henry patient in Watertown State Hospital, 58 born in Germany Immigrated 1890-(My Dad's babybook lists Grandpa Haack and Great Grandma McCleary-think old Henry was alive but in an institution all those years and Minnie remarried.)
1930: Patient still in what is now called East Moline State Hospital, age changes but not uncommon in census. East Moline State Hospital closed in 1979 and is now the home of the East Moline Correctional Center
DEATH: IRAD: HAACK HENRY M/W UNK 0030557 1947-07-27 ROCK ISLAND EAST MOLINE
He is buried in Resthaven Cemetery and resided in the Hospital from Aug 15, 1899 .
I have his death cert, which of course lists nothing about his parents. What I am looking for is a divorce record-wife possibly Minnie, naturalization record (immigrated 1890 with 4 children and wife and one child born in Henry County , Geneseo 15 Nov 1891: Augusta HAACK), court documents institutionalizing him-anything!
