E. R. GOODRICH DIES TUESDAY; E.R. Goodrich, 53, of route 2, Geneseo, did Tuesday morning October 10, in St. Luke’s hospital, Geneseo. Funeral services were Thursday afternoon, October 12 in the Wright funeral home with Rev. Alfred Schubkegel, pastor of St. John's Lutheran church officiating. Mrs. William Krantz was organist. Pallbearers were Kenneth Dilenbeck, Al Hardin, Cecil Hair, Sam Stafford, Charles Thompson, Dean Landreth, Frank Schuetzler, Dave Rosenberry and Donald Schopp. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery .
Mr. Goodrich was born May 26, 1919 in Geneseo, the son of James August and Louise Siemetz Goodrich. He was a lifetime resident of Geneseo where he owned and operated the Goodrich Welding Shop. On July 21, 1943 , he married Jane Rahn in Geneseo. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Geneseo. Surviving are his wife; two brothers, David of Geneseo and Hartwell of Annawan and a sister, Mrs. Lyle Fulk of Key West Florida , formerly of Geneseo.
