Charlie BAUMGARTNER is town visiting his mother.
Dr. I. R. WELLS got home from Galena last Saturday.
The public schools will close next Friday for the holiday vacation.
Charley SHERIFF was up from Moline to spend Sunday with Geneseo friends.
John HERMES offers his residence property in the northwest part of town for sale.
Ben COTTON'S theater company has engaged Freeman's Hall for the Dec. 20 th and 21 st.
N.D. DAVIS, the Englewood photographer, was in town last Monday and Tuesday.
Dr. H.T. ANTES has gone to Galena to visit a week or two with his brother in law, J. E. WELLS.
Wanted, a number one farm hand for one year or longer if agreeable. Apply at this office at once.
Charley SHEPPARD is in from Kansas. When last heard he was at lola, in the southern part of the state.
Mrs. SPURLOCK will offer her entire stock of fall and winter millinery at cost for the next 30 days.
Squire STEE:LE was kept at home all last week by an attack of fever. He is still looking a little pale from the effects of it.
Rev Albert BUSHNELL will preach for Rev. E. L. WILLIAMS at the Munson Presbyterian church next Sunday afternoon.
