Llewellyn Holke whose home prior to a year and a half ago was in Geneseo, passed away Saturday Dec. 28, 1918 in Rock Island, where he was living with his brother, Frank Holke. He was taken ill with influenza Dec. 5th which later developed into pneumonia. All that loving care and medical skill could do was done for him, but to no avail. Llewellyn has been in feeble health most of his life, but bore his weakness with patience and fortitude. Besides the brother Frank with whom he lived in Rock Island , there survives two sisters, Mrs Augusta Borst of Rock Island , and Mrs. Fred Rahn of this city.

The remains were brought to Geneseo Monday and following a funeral service at 1 p.m. conducted by Rev. S.S. Langdoc, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, where laid away in their last resting place in Edford cemetery beside the parents and other members of the family who had preceded him in death.
