Ludwig H. Kopischke, highly respected and long time citizen of Geneseo township died at J. C. Hammond Hospital Wednesday, Nov. 2, 1904.  Mr. Kopischke had submitted to an operation for hernia but the hoped for relief was not attained.  Deceased was a native of West Prussia born May 16, 1840 .  He was a veteran of the civil war.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the German Lutheran church.
