Sandra Weber Shipp and Arthur James French both of East Moline were married Friday, February 11 in the chapel of the Geneseo Grace United Methodist church. The Rev. Wally Krech officated the 7 p.m. ceremony. Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Dean E. Weber of Geneseo. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth French of Davenport Iowa are the parents of the bridegroom. Colleen Brobston sister of the bride and Angela French, daughter of the bridegroom were the bride's attendants. The bridegroom’s attendants were Harold French, brother of the bridegroom and Corbin Shipp son of the bride. A reception followed the ceremony in the home of the bride's parents. The family will resided at 3809 6th avenue, East Moline. Mrs. French is the secretary to the director of pricing at Deere and Company in Moline. Mr. French is a machine operator at John Deere Harvester Works in East Moline.
