Mr. Peter Knudde died at his home in this village (Annawan) Monday evening of pneumonia, after an illness of five weeks.  Deceased was born in Schoondyke, province Zeeland, Holland on the 5th of April 1842.  He leaves a grief stricken widow, two daughters, three sisters and one brother to mourn his death.  Funeral services were held at the Catholic church, Atkinson, Wednesday morning.  Father Tholen officiating the remains interred in the Catholic cemetery in Atkinson.
