ROYAL FRANKLIN BAILEY

Royal Franklin Bailey was born in the town of Rockingham , Windham County , State of Vermont , in November, 1831.Came to Galva, Henry Co., Ill. , in 1857, where he has since resided and " paid his taxes like the average law-abiding citizen."
In politics he is an "Abraham Lincoln Republican; " in religion, a "Bob Ingersoll Baptist; " in morals, a " George Washington :" "he can't tell a lie." Hence this history. " Sic transit gloria mundi!"
