At his home in Pink Prairie, Henry county; Ill. , Dec 22nd, 1878 , Thos LANDENBACH, aged 61 years and 9 days.

The subject of the above notice was born Dec. 18, 1817 , at Eastown , Pa. The cause of his death was lung fever. deceased was instructed in religion in the Reformed church, with which he was identified in Pennsylvania , but for some time he has been holding to the Evangelical church, and was a good help in the various enterprises. We hope our loss is his eternal gain. He leaves a deeply afflicted wife, ten children and many friends to mourn his sudden departure. Funeral was conducted by the writer in the Pink Prairie church. The occasion was improved by a sermon from John 11, 25-26. His remains were interred in the Pink Prairie Cemetery .                J.W.More
