William H. Boetger, San Mateo, California, the husband of a Geneseo native, died suddenly Tuesday Jan 8, in San Mateo.  He was 69.  Services were held Friday, January 11, at 2 p.m. at Duggans-Carimont Chapel in Belmont, California, with entombment at the Elks Mausoleum, Skylaen Memorial Park, San Mateo.  Memorials may be left to the American Heart Association.  Mr.  Boetger was a native of Davenport.  He was a salesman for the Duo East California cororation for 30 years and a member of the San Mateo Elks Lodge No 1112.  He was married in Geneseo to Oral Papenthien, a native of Geneseo.  He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Venita J. Olsen, Menio Park, California, and Mrs. Richard (Janet) Lyons, Hillsboro, California, and five grandsons.
