Due to the great number of our boys having answered our national call, this association was formed to assist the farmers in harvesting their crops. Eighty-four of our citizens, including professional and business men, furnished two hundred and fifty full days, and one hundred and ten half days, making a total of three hundred and five full days labor.

Seventy four different farmers called for help and in every instance the demand was supplied.

In behalf of the farmers, I wish to extend thanks to all who so willingly responded to this patriotic duty.

I have received many expressions of appreciation from the farmers for the splendid service rendered.
