PEKIN - Earl "Wimp" Blakeley Jr., 66, of 201 Reservoir died at 10:50 p.m.
Thursday, Aug. 8, 1991, at Methodist Medical Center.
He was born May 6, 1925, in Kilbourne to Earl M. and Emma Pedigo Blakeley.
Surviving are six sons, Mike, Steve and Mark, all of Chandlerville, Larry of
Pekin, Rick of Bath, and Kevin of Havana; and two brothers, Kenneth and Howard,
both of Kilbourne.
He was a lumber grader for Rich Lumber Co., retiring in 1990. A Korean War Navy
veteran, he was a member of Eagles Lodge of Pekin and Moose Lodge 619. Services
will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Visitation will be
from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
