Joyce I. Blakely, 69, of Kilbourne died Friday, March 19, 1999, at Memorial
Medical Center.
She was born Jan. 11, 1930, in Mason County, the daughter of Russell and Flora
Foster Kingen. She married Kenneth E. Blakely in 1949 in Petersburg; he preceded
her in death in 1997. Mrs. Blakely was a homemaker. She was formerly employed
with the secretary of state's office for several years and as a waitress with
Korner Kitchen Kafe in Kilbourne for several years.
She was a member of Kilbourne Baptist Church and the VFW Auxiliary of Havana.
Survivors: a son, Gary Blakely of Havana; a daughter, Denise Rebman of Havana;
four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; mother, Flora Kingen of Havana; and
two sisters, Jean Grim of Easton and Jackie Stockham of Havana.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Hurley Funeral Home, Havana. Burial: Kilbourne
Cemetery.
