KILBOURNE -- Kenneth E. Blakely, 70, of 7261 N. County Road 1750E died at 9:55 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15, 1997, at his residence.

Born Sept. 30, 1926, in Kilbourne to Earl M. and Emma Pedigo Blakely, he married Joyce Kingen on June 30, 1949, in Petersburg. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Gary of Havana; one daughter, Denise Rebman of Havana; one brother, Howard of Kilbourne; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One brother preceded him in death.

He was a self-employed carpenter.

A World War II Army veteran, he was a life member of Havana Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6408. He also was a member of Kilbourne Baptist Church.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. The Rev. Ken Wagstaff will officiate. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Kilbourne Cemetery.
