Also known as "The Brick House", this mansion was built by Major Benjamin H.
Gatton, the founder of Bath. It was said that Mr. Gatton has so many servants,
he had a cupola built on top of the house so he could watch over them as they
worked in the fields. There are nine major rooms and at one time, a coffin grand
piano was in the living room...supposedly played by Abraham Lincoln. |
