served as operator from 1913 to 1956. Stroh will be
remembered for his interest in many young boys who
showed and interest tin telegraphy. he would take them
in and teach them everything he knew about being an
operator, then send them out along the line as agents.
At least twenty-five men were tutored by Clarence.
