Happy Jack's Lunch Room Page 45 The above picture is of Happy Jack's Restaurant where Boeker Store stands today. Logan Anderson is seated at the counter with Happy behind it. Happy Jack Aurand and his wife, Nancy opened a restaurant in the old building that once stood on the Boeker Store site. He operated there for a short while. then moved to the Sutton Building, remaining there until he built his new restaurant which is now the barber shop. Shortly after Happy built this building, he died of the flu in 1918. Nancy continued the business. Sam Lynn was the cook. Above picture shows the building at that time.
