author's notes: It is thought that the land entry dates follow the order of arrival of various family members. They did not enter land on immediately arriving in the area. James W. Hall was son of Abner Hall and entered land when he became 21 years of age. J.B. Ayers was a son-in-law of Abner Hall. Dabney Overstreet, Peter Perkins, and Wesley Hall arrived in the area somewhat later than the original migrants.
