Lincoln's home is presented in an unusual pen and ink sketch by Dorothy H. Moore of near Charleston. Mrs. Moore is the wife of Lewis A. Moore, who served as superintendent of plant industry in the department of agriculture under Governor Henry Horner. While in Springfield the Moores resided at 1217 Fayette avenue and Mrs. Moore was active in art and literary circles. She has won a large number of prizes for her work in art.
