Earl E. Cantrall
Earl E. Cantrall, 92, of Springfield, died at 7:25 p.m. Sunday at Memorial
Born in Fancy Prairie, he was the son of William M. and Mary L. McClelland
He was a retired farmer. He was preceded in death by his wife,
Margaret, in May 1976. Also preceding him in death were three sisters, Renee and Bessie Cantrall, and Ruth Gorton, and three brothers, Percy, Fred, and Ray.
Surviving are three sons, Harry of Chatham, George of Jacksonville, and
Chester of Springfield; five daughters, Mrs. Dean (Marie) Bell of Chatham, Mrs. Arnott (Elsie) Smith of Buffalo, Margaret Cantrall of Springfield, Mrs. Willis (Elizabeth) Mavis of New Berlin, and Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Sommer of Springfield; three brothers, Arch and Lawrence Sr. of Springfield and John of Chicago; 15 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Kullinger-Kunz and Davis Funeral
Home, the Rev. Lawrence Hemrick officiating.
Burial will be in Old Salem Cemetery, Riddle Hill.
