GLENN EDWIN CANTRALL
Glenn Edwin Cantrall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cantrall of Springfield, died at St. John’s Hospital at 9:30 Sunday evening, at the age of 12 years. He had been in poor health for the past two months, his illness being caused by the development of boils, resulting in toxic poisoning.
He was born in Athens on November 5, 1922. He was a pupil in the seventh grade of the Ridgely school, playing the saxophone in the orchestra. He was also a member of the West Side Christian Church of Springfield.
Surviving are his parents; one brother, Loren Richard; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Hurt of this city; and a host of other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the local Christian Church at 2 o’clock Wednesday afternoon. Rev. LaVerne Taylor, of Springfield, officiated, assisted by Rev. Donald Finley.
Interment was made in Hall Cemetery.
