Donald V. England, 62, of Springfield, died Friday, December 30 at his
He was born July 20, 1932, in Athens, the son of Zoel and Cecile Knox
Mr. England attended Lanphier High School and was an over-the-road truck
driver for 25 years. He was a veteran of the Korean War, an avid motorcycle racing fan, and a member of Springfield Milers Motorcycle Club.
Surviving are one son, Tanner England of Collinsville; mother, Cecile England of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services were held Saturday, December 31 at 11 a.m. at Mott and Henning
Funeral Home in Athens with Rev. Norman Mendell officiating. Burial was in Hall Cemetery, Athens.
