Sarah M. Mallory of 811 N. 6th St., Springfield, formerly of Cantrall,
daughter of William G. and Mary Jane Cantrall, was born in Sangamon County, near Cantrall, Ill., Feb. 9, 1864.

She departed this life in Springfield Nov. 15, 1947, at the age of 83.

She lived her entire life in and around Cantrall with the exception of a few years at Nevada, Iowa. She became a member of the church at an early age.

She is survived by one son, Ollie Mallory, Ames, Iowa; a brother, Wilbur
Cantrall, Cantrall; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. One son preceded her in death in 1918 serving during World War I.

Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon with Rev. E. E. Fletcher, pastor of the Elkhart Methodist Church, in charge.

The pallbearers were Harry Strode, Jake Strode, Emery Strode, Bake Strode,
Carrol Teigland, and Willie Randall.

Burial was made in Hall cemetery.
