Last rites held for Delbert Primm
ATHENS - Memorial services were held for Delbert W. Primm of R.R. 1 Athens on Monday, April 21 at Mott and Henning Funeral Home in Athens, with Rev.
Randall Wofford officiating. Burial was in Indian Point Cemetery. Mr. Primm died at 1:40 a.m. on Friday, April 18 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
Mr. Primm, who was engaged in farming, was born January 16, 1918, in Menard County, the son of Jay and Helen Becker Primm. He was a member of the Athens United Methodist Church and Athens American Legion James C. Wade Post 129 and a veteran of World War II.
Surviving are his wife, Donna; two sons, Rex Primm of Liberty, Missouri, and John Primm at home; mother, Mrs. Helen Primm of Athens; and one sister, Mrs. Nadine Coffey of Lincoln. He was preceded in death by his father, Jay Primm, on July 11, 1960, and a son, Douglas Primm, on January 26, 1975.
