Douglas M. Primm is dead at 23
Douglas M. Primm, 23, of R.R. 1 Athens, was found dead at his home at 8:15 Sunday night, Jan. 26. Sheriff Charles Lott said that death was apparently due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The dead man was born Oct. 31, 1951 at Springfield, the son of Delbert and Donna Stitt Primm. He graduated from Athens High School in 1969 and served with the U.S. Army.
Surviving are his parents, Delbert and Donna Primm; two brothers, John at home and Rex of Liberty, Mo.; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Helen Primm of Athens and Mrs. Ruth Stitt of Williamsville.
Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Wednesday morning, Jan. 29 at the Mott and Henning Funeral Home, Athens. Burial was in Indian Point Cemetery.
