Pawnee, Sept. 15 - Mrs Anna Holland Ahlers, 56, of Pawnee, formerly of Pleasant Plains, died at 2:20 p.m. Wednesday in St. John's Hospital, Springfield, where she entered Monday, after having been in failing health for some time.

Mrs. Ahlers was a member of the Methodist Church.

Surviving are her husband, George; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McEvers, Pawnee; and Mrs. Mae Berndt, Springfield; two sons, Raymond, Alexander, and Lee, Springfield; three brothers, Thomas Holland, Pleasant Plains; Scott and Ernest Holland, both of Springfield, and 16 grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Hensley Funeral Home, Pleasant Plains.
