John W. Baum died suddenly Saturday of heart trouble. He was a son of George Baum and wife, and was a young man of exemplary character. He was aged 29 years and 28 days. Besides his parents he is survived by two brothers Henry and Marion and one sister, Mrs. John Rhodes. Deceased was for many years a member of the Lutheran church in Petersburg, from which the funeral was held at 1 a.m., Tuesday, conducted by Rev. Mr. Isley. Interment was made in Rose Hill cemetery.
