WOMAN OF FIVE SCORE AND TEN
Death of Mrs. Ann Cooper of Prentice Who Was a Native a Tenn., But for Many Years has lived in Illinois.
Mrs. Ann Cooper, aged 110 years died at 8 o'clock Monday, at her home at Prentice three miles south of Ashland, of a complication of diseases, due to her extreme age.
She was born in Tennessee and was by many years the oldest person in this vicinity. When a young woman she removed to Prentice, which was afterward her home. Her husband died several years ago and two sons and a daughter survive, as follows: Elias and John Cooper of Prentice and Miss Cooper who resides at home.
The funeral took place Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Prentice church, and the interment will be in Yatesville cemetery.
