Margaret Denton was born in this city, March 21, 1912. She died at the State Colony in Lincoln, December 17, 1927, aged 15 years, 8 months and 24 days.
When she was three years of age she suffered an accident the result of which was she has since been afflicted. For nearly fifteen years she has been solely afflicted with epileptic spells and paralysis and had been unable all that time to help herself or make her wants known.
About two years ago it was thought it would be best to take her to experienced physicians provided by the state to treat such cases, but all was in vain and she fell asleep last Saturday. She is survived by her mother, Florence S. Denton; one brother, Charles Denton; her grandfather, C. H. Denton; several uncles, aunts and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at the residence, Monday afternoon at 2:30, Rev. J. C. Ewing officiating. Interment was made in the West cemetery.
