WILLIAM H. GRAHAM DIES IN PEORIA HOSPITAL
December 27, 1939
Word was received by relatives here of the death of William H. Graham, 77, at a hospital in Peoria Wednesday morning, December 27th, following a surgical operation.
Mr. Graham, the son of the late Henry and Fannie Cantrall Graham was born on a farm northeast of the Tilson schoolhouse. For years he operated the Graham farm one-quarter mile east of the schoolhouse.
For several years he operated a pantatorium in Delevan. Leaving there a few years ago, he and his wife located in Seminole, Okla., and were living with their son, Paul.
Details concerning Mr. Graham's death were not given in the message. His wife, the former Phoebe H________? is in Seminole and unable to attend the funeral which will be held at Springfield, Ills., at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon. Burial will take place there.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two sons, Harold of Iowa; Paul, of Seminole; two daughters, Mrs. Edith (A.D.) Van Meter of Sherman and Mrs. Helen Hartz of Sheffield; one brother, Joseph Graham of Athens; three sisters, Mrs. Anna Johnson and Mrs. Minnie Fulton of Athens, and Mrs. Carrie Van Meter of Williamsville.
