Retired Nurse Is Suddenly Stricken; Rites Will Be Held At Rock Creek
Miss Mae D. Hellstern, a retired practical nurse, died at 12:40 p.m. yesterday at the residence, 432 1/2 South Fifth street. Death followed a brief illness. Apparently in good health, Miss Hellstern was stricken suddenly yesterday morning and died about two hours later.

Miss Hellstern had been a resident of Springfield since 1917. Because of ill health she retired from active nursing about ten years ago.

Surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Kate Williams, Aurora; Mrs. A. C. Lynn, Checotah, Okla.; Mrs. E. P. Hornbeck, Greenville, and Miss Ruth Hellstern, city.

Remains were removed to the Bisch Memorial home where brief services will be held at 9:45 a.m. tomorrow, followed by rites at the Rock Creek Presbyterian church, four miles east of Tallula, of which she was a member. Rev. G. A. Wilson will officiate and interment will be in Rock Creek cemetery.
