The death of Mrs. Ida Hunt, wife of John Hunt of this city, occurred at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James Smith, in Springfield, Tuesday afternoon, October 25, 1927, at 1:30 o'clock, at the age of 66 years.

She had been in failing health for many months and only a few weeks ago she was able to return home from the hospital in Springfield where she had been taken for treatment. After returning home she suffered a relapse and last Friday she was taken to the home of her daughter where she might receive the best possible care.

Surviving are her husband, John Hunt; three daughters, Mrs. James Smith, Mrs. Sallie Fisher, and Mrs. Lawrence Timidy, all of Springfield and one sister, Mrs. Laura Webb also of Springfield.

Funeral services were held at the residence in this city, Thursday afternoon, October 27, at 2:30 o'clock. Interment in the West cemetery.
