Death of John Naylor
John Samuel Naylor died March 14, at his home in North Athens aged sixty years. Of catarrh of the stomach. His children are Thomas and Charles Naylor, Mrs. Thomas Rogers, Mrs. John Green, Mrs. Harvy Hunt, and Mrs. Herbert Piercille, all of whom reside in or near this city; and Mrs. Edward Mandlins, who resides in Bond county. He is also survived by one brother, Barny Naylor, and three sisters Mrs. Edward Vise, Mrs. William McGary and Mrs. William Thomas. Who reside in this county. The decedent was born in Kentucky where he also married. About seventeen years ago he moved his family to this county, first to Greenview. About six years ago he moved to Athens and worked for some time in the coal mines. Later he took up farming for a livelihood.
The funeral will take place Thursday at 3 p.m. from the Lebanon church. The Rev. D. G. Carson officiating. Interment in the cemetery at Lebanon.
