Tolliver Secrest, of near Greenview, died suddenly at 5:30 p.m. Monday at his residence. He was 67 years old.

Mr. Secrest was born Dec. 24, 1883, at Flemingsburg, Ky., a son of John E. and Martha Smelling Secrest. He came to Greenview in 1914 and was married to Irene Killion, who survives.

Besides his wife, he is survived by a son, John; his father, John Secrest, of Loveland, Colo.; two brothers, Chris, of Ontario, Canada, and Charles of San Pedro, Calif.; three sisters, Mrs. Florence Snedgar and Miss Stella Secrest, both of Santa Ana, Calif., and Mrs. H.N. Sawicki, of Nevada, Mo., and a granddaughter.

Remains were removed to the Satorius funeral home, Petersburg and tentative arrangements have been made to hold last services there at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by Rev. F.A. Wirth, with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery.
