Obituary of Mrs. Mary Spurlock, who died in Sweetwater, on Tuesday, May
11, 1915

Mary Elizabeth Page was born in Fleming Co., Kentucky, June 5, 1854. She
died at the home of her son, Ed Spurlock in Sweetwater, Ill. May 11,
1915, aged 60 years, 11 months and 6 days.

She spent her early life in Kentucky but a few years ago, she with her
husband and children moved to Illinois. She united with the Christian
Church when she was a little girl and has tried to live a Christian life.

She leaves to mourn her loss her six children. Simpson and Mansford of
Fancy Prairie, Fred of Tipton, Indiana, Ed of Sweetwater, Mrs. Clara Man
of Auburn and Minnie of Hoopeston, Ill, and two brothers, Mr. Lewis Page
of Greenview, and Prince Page of Grange City, Ky.

She has gone to join her husband who passed to his reward January 27, 1914.

Funeral services were held from the Christian Church in Sweetwater on
Thursday, conducted by Elder C. E. Smoot. Interment in Sugar Grove cemetery.
