SARAH STONHAM

Stonham-Died, at 11:10 o’clock Saturday night, Feb. 18, 1911, at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Maggie Chonister [sic], at Salisburg [sic], Mrs. Sarah Stonham, aged 52 years. The remains were brought at 7:30 o’clock last evening to the residence of the decenent’s [sic] daughter, Mrs. Frederick Steil, 1607 South Eleventh street. Funeral arrangements will be announced later. Mrs. Stonham was born in Menard county, but had been a resident of this city the last thirty years until, because of ill health, she removed to the home of her daughter at Salisbury three months ago. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal church. Decedent is survived by two sons, Charles and George Stonham, both of this city, five daughters, Mrs. John Cawley, jr., Mrs. Frederick Steil and Mrs. Frank Steil, all of Springfield; Mrs. Henry Chonister of Salisbury, and Mrs. Samuel Reynolds of Buffalo.
