Will of Hannah Frerichs

I, Hannah Frerichs, of the County of Menard and State of Illinois, being of sound and disposing mind and memory do hereby make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament, and I hereby revoke any and all wills or testamentary dispositions of property be me at any time heretofore made. First: Let every just debt of my estate be fully paid as soon as may conveniently be done. Second: I give to my grandson Louis Caldwell the cash sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), and I give to my grandson Harold Caldwell the cash sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00). Third: All the rest, residue and remainder of my estate I give and bequeath to my sons Carl Frerichs and Fred Frerichs and my daughter Julia Miller in equal shares. Lastly: I nominate and appoint my son Carl Frerichs to be the Executor of this my last will and testament, to act as such without surety on his bond as Executor. IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal this 29th day of August, 1953.

The above and foregoing instrument was on the day and date written in above, signed, sealed, published and declared by the above subscribed Hannah Frerichs to be her last will and testament in our presence, and we, in her presence, at her request, in the presence of each other, and at the same time and place, have hereunto signed our named as attesting witnesses, and we do now hereby certify that we believe that the said Hannah Frerichs was at the time of the making and signing of her said will to be of sound mind and memory and under no wrongful influence or restraint.
