CHARLES CABEEN
Charles Fremont Cabeen was born in Mercer county in 1851, being the second son of Thomas and Mary Cabeen. He spent the early portion of his life upon his father's farm and going to school.
About the year 18 T9 he went to Aledo and for a time kept the Aledo House, and in connection with his brother, W. A., was engaged in an agricultural implement store. At the death of his father in 1880 he took charge of the farm, which he still manages and controls. Politically Mr. Cabeen is an independent democrat.
