GEORGE A. WRIGHT

The only son of Horace E. and Harriet (Jewel) Wright, was born August 10, 1849, in Rock Island, Illinois, being the first male child born in that city. He has lived in Mercer county nearly all his life, attended common school, and spent most of his life upon a farm. The last five years he has been engaged in mercantile pursuits. In February. 1882, he embarked in the flower and seed trade in Aledo. Politically he is a republican.
