5000 44th St. Rock Island

 

The Club was formed in July 1980 in Andalusia with just sixteen members. They have competed in several regional and national competitions and have won several wards.

In 1983 they moved from Andalusia to their 22 acre ski facility at 44th street in Rock Island on the Rock River.

In 2004 they celebrated their 25th anniversary and have grown to 92 members. They are credited for the largest pyramid ever for a ski team. This August they held a disabled ski clinic for people with various disabilities. It was a huge sucess.

There are bleachers and a consession stand.

Admission is free but they do pass a hat around for donations. It is definatley worth a donation!!
