BENJAMIN F. WHITE

Benjamin F. White, 76, of 727 Third street , Rock Island , a resident of this city for about fifty years, died at 10:50 o'clock last night in Moline Public hospital, where he had been a patient since Dec. 3.

He had been a coal miner and a farmer, and worked for many years at the Old Standard Table Oilcloth company, Rock Island . Mr. White was born in Cable, Sept. 20, 1870 , and was reared and educated there. His wife, the former Carrie McNeil, preceded him in death

. Surviving are two stepdaughters, Mrs. George Nelson and Mrs. John F. Baumann, both of Rock Island ; a sister Mrs. Ida Nimrick of Cambridge , and two brothers, Fred of Rock Island and Judd of Warner, Ill. He was also preceded in death by his parents and four brothers. The body was taken to the Knox morturay. Funeral services will be at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning in the Knox chapel, with burial in Chippiannock cemetery.
