Broadway Presbyterian Church

The church was organized May 28,1885 , in the lecture-room of the Presbyterian Church, by a committee of the Rock River Presbytery, consisting of Rev. Josiah Milligan, Rev. J. H. Moore and Elder Snyder. Some 45 persons received letters of dismission to form this Church. A beautiful and costly house of worship was erected on the corner of 23d Street and Seventh Avenue in 1877
