BROADWAY DISTRICT

Broadway District are beautiful old 19th century vintage homes located in the heart of Rock Island. They are known for their architecture as well as the famous Rock Island people who owned them. In 1998 it was awarded the statis of National Historic District and it was well deserved.

They hold an annual tour in which thousands attend every year. In the past the tour was held on Mother's Day but since it was changed to the Sunday after Mothers Day so as not to interfere with people's holiday plans.

This tour is fantastic and well worth the trip to Rock Island!
