Andalusia- David Finley died Tuesday Jan. 12 th at the home of his daughter,Anna Spigles in Andalusia . He was born 24 March 1828 in WestmorelandCo. Pennsylvania and came to Peoria, Illinois in 1849 and lived there for 1 Year before coming to Rock Island County where he since lived. He married Ann Carter on 25 March 1851; she died 29 September 1880. They had six

 Children 4 of whom are deceased. The two surviving children are; David L.Finley of Reynolds and Ann, wife of Geo. Spigles of Andalusia .

The funeral was at the Methodist Episcopal Church with burial Thursday in the Andalusia cemetery.
