Walter Seefeldt, Milan resident, dies at age 81 Walter S. "Dutch" Seefeldt, 81, of 324 W. 2nd St. Milan , who formerly owned and operated Dutch's Tavern there, died at 10 p.m. Saturday at his home. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Larson Funeral Home, Milan . The Rev. Robert E. Jensen, pastor of First United Presbyterian Church, Milan , will officiate, and burial will be in Memorial, Park Cemetery , Rock Island . Friends may call at the funeral home afternoon tomorrow. Mr. Seefeldt was born Jan 10, 1898 in Andalusia , the son of Frank and Clara Buffum Seefeldt. He lived in Milan from 1908 to 1913 and to 1930, when he moved back to Milan . He married Alice Smith Aug 3,1917 , in Galesburg,Ill . He owned and operated Dutch's Tavern in Milan for 41 years, retiring in 1975. Surviving are his wife; three sons, Walter S., Muscatine . James R. and Frank M., both of Milan; a daughter, Mrs Wallace L. Hubbard, Des Moines; 10 grandchildren; 13 greatchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Marie S. Baker, Milan. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.
