MRS. BISANT DEAD
She is the Wife of a Well Known Police Officer of Moline
Mrs. Emma L. Bisant, wife of Police Officer Oscar M. Bisant of
Moline
died yesterday after an illness of ten days.
Mrs. Bisant was a member of one of the old families in the county.
Her
maiden name was Emma L. Adams, daughter of the late E. W. Adams of
Hampton
township. The latter was the owner of Campbell's Island. Mrs. Bisant
was
born August 6, 1855 in Hampton. In 1872 she was married to Mr. Bisant.
Mrs.
Bisant is mourned by two children, Merton O. and Edna.
