RITES HELD FOR FRANK SEEFELDT; MILAN RESIDENT

Funeral services for Frank Seefeldt, of Milan , here held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Knox chapel in Rock Island . Mr. Seefeldt died at 2:50 o'clock Sunday afternoon due to a heart attack. He had been in falling health for two years. He was born at Buffalo , Iowa and lived in Davenport until moving to Milan 15 years ago. He married Miss Clara M. Buffum of Andalusia , Dec 29, 1887 . He was in business in Milan until two years ago. Surviving are his wife; three daughters, Mrs. Glenn Baker of Davenport, Mrs. Homer Smith of Milan and Miss Dorothy Seefeldt, at home; two sons, Walter and Lloyd Seefeldt of Milan; four brothers Henry and Theodore Seefeldt of Milan, John Seefeldt of Red Oak, Iowa and Christian Seefeldt of Houston, Texas; and eleven grandchildren. Two children and three sisters preceded him in death. John Seefeldt of Red Oak, Iowa was unable to attend the funeral as he is sick in a hospital and Christian Seefeldt of Houston , was injured in a fall and was also unable to come. Out of town relatives attending the funeral were Mrs. Ira Johnston of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Ira Buffum of Durant, Mrs. F. Hibbert of Muscatine and Mr. and Mrs. Gus Bischoff of Davenport. Homer Smith, who is working in Louisiana , Mo. , also came home to attend the funeral. Pallbearers were Henry services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Larson funeral home, Milan,Ill. The Rev. Ralph E. Lemon of Milan Presbyterian church will officiate, and burial will be in Andalusia cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.
