HAPPY HOLLOW

Heagy, Stoddard and Taylor Williams operated the Hampton Coal Mining Company on Sections 15,16 and 22 of Hampton Township.

Happy Hollow was a small village that sprang up near the Hampton Coal Mining Company. It is now extinct but at one time had over 1,000 people living there.
