Harold L. Miller, 67, of 2801 47th Ave. Rock Island , died Sunday at Franciscan Medical Center . Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at National Cemetery, Rock Island Arsenal. Major Peter VanDerVliet, chaplain of the Salvation Army, Davenport , will officiate, and military services will be conducted by the Milan American Legion. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island .

Memorials may be made to the Foundation for Crippled Children and Adults of Rock Island County .

Pallbearers will be Joe Cassidy, Bill Shaffer, Wade and Wyatt Argo, Ben Crocker and Todd Von-Wolvelaere. Mr. Miller was born Sept. 23, 1917 , in Ionia , Iowa , son of Charles and Bernice Kimball Miller. He had resided in the Quad-Cities since 1937. He married Novella Nelson Sept. 21, 1940 , in Rock Island . Mr. Miller retied from the Rock Island Arsenal in 1979, where he had been employed for 30 years as a mechinst. Prior to that he had owned and operated the Rock River Sheet Metal and Heating Co. for 10 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II

. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Diane Crocker of Rock Island; a son, Terry of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a brother, Charles Miller of Charles City, Iowa.
